Kelvin Sila Kaloki is the New Managing Director

(Nairobi, Kenya 24-01-19) We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kelvin Sila Kaloki as the new Managing Director of Africa Plantation Capital, effective immediately. Mr. Kaloki has been an integral part of our organization (Africa Plantation Capital and its subsidiaries) since its incorporation by the APC Group in 2016, serving as the Director of Business Development. His promotion is a testament to his exceptional leadership, vision, and dedication to the company’s growth.

A Proven Leader in Business Development

Mr. Kaloki has been a driving force behind our business development initiatives from the beginning. Under his guidance, Africa Plantation Capital has achieved significant milestones, contributing to the company’s strong position in the plantation industry. His efforts were recognized at the 2017 annual meeting in Bangkok, where he was awarded by Mr. Barry Rawlinson, CEO of Asia Plantation Capital, for his outstanding performance as Business Development Director.

A Vision for Local Empowerment

With Mr. Kaloki at the helm, Africa Plantation Capital has reached a critical goal: becoming a company that is not only rooted in local culture but also driven by local talent. Mr. Rawlinson noted, “Now that Mr. Kelvin Sila Kaloki is finally taking over Africa Plantation Capital, the initial target of the group to have a company employing only local people is achieved.” This marks a significant milestone in the company’s mission to foster local empowerment and sustainable development.

Strengthening Our Global Footprint

The APC Group, with its extensive global plantation footprint spanning Asia, Africa, and the United States, continues to establish itself as a leader in the plantation industry. Under Mr. Kaloki’s management, Africa Plantation Capital is poised to dominate the bamboo industry and solidify its position as a pre-eminent vertically integrated grower, manufacturer, and distributor of bamboo end products.

A Seamless Transition

We are confident that Mr. Kaloki’s transition to Managing Director will be seamless. Having been a key player in the management team since the company’s inception, he is fully equipped to take on his new responsibilities without delay. His deep understanding of the company’s operations and his role in critical decision-making processes make him the ideal leader to guide Africa Plantation Capital into the future.

A Message from the APC Group CEO

Mr. Gary Crates, CEO of The APC Group in Geneva, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Kaloki on his new appointment, stating, “Mr. Kelvin Sila Kaloki has been a cornerstone of our company’s success. His promotion is well-deserved, and we are excited to see how he will continue to lead Africa Plantation Capital to new heights.”

We look forward to the continued growth and success of Africa Plantation Capital under Mr. Kaloki’s leadership.
